Having a Blast with the Kids
My family participated in the annual Rocketship picnic by designing and shooting off custom-designed bottle rockets. My kids literally had a blast and I cut whatever shapes they drew.

Industrial Design Day!
My co-worker and I decided on a whim to put together a quick process video to celebrate industrial design day. Within a few minutes we scripted out the videos we wanted to shoot and then we ran around the studio to stage and create the video before lunch. Enjoy!

CES 2025
Attending the show every year reminds me how big the consumer electronic space is. There are so many products, companies, and ideas that it can take an inordinate amount of time to see them all. My Hand is Famous!
A client asked if I could film a little video content with her to submit to the film crew on her participation on the Amazon show "Buy it Now". We filmed a few minutes of footage of me sketching, reviewing the design, and holding the product. In the end they only used a split second moment where my hand was visible but it's still me! It Takes a Forrest
I often say "paper is cheap" when talking about the initial design process. I think getting ideas out on paper is one of the best ways to ideate. Some designers use an iPad but I find the physical pen and paper helps me think quickly and not be tempted by CTRL+Z. During COVID, I sketched a lot at home while working remotely.
