PROJECT OVERVIEW

The InstaFire team has creative tinkerers who know their way around fire and sheet metal. The Ember oven provides a variety of ways to cook food reliably in a sturdy and thoughtful design.

I was tasked with creating a product based on their prototype and refining the areas of the design that were expensive to produce and awkward to the user. Incorporating user-friendly features such as wooden handles, latches, knobs, and compact form, I helped prepare the design for mass production. I created the 3D files and gathered production quotations from dozens of vendors in advance of the product launch.
